Self Photos / Files - 3-2-1-1The ICAC enforces the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (POBO) to uphold a fair and corruption-free society and safeguard the legitimate interests of different stakeholders.  The POBO governs corruption in both the private and public sector.

QWhat is corruption?

Corruption occurs when an individual abuses his/her authority for personal gain at the expense of other stakeholders.  It erodes fairness and the rule of law, and in some cases, puts lives and property at risk.
