Mission
It is our firm belief that maintaining high ethical standards in business is the best defence against corruption, which keeps sustaining an open, clean and fair business environment in Hong Kong.
To fortify the business sector's resistance to corruption, the Hong Kong Ethics Development Centre was established under the auspices of the Community Relations Department of the ICAC in May 1995 and was rebranded as Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre in 2015. Its work is steered by the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Advisory Committee comprising ten major chambers of commerce in Hong Kong as members.
In partnership with the business community, we strive to promote business and professional ethics on a long-term basis to sustain a level-playing field in Hong Kong.
