BEDC Channel

The BEDC Channel (the Channel) is an online platform hosted by the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) to help business practitioners and professionals understand the anti-corruption law and uphold a high standard of business ethics. The Channel offers free thematic seminars conducted by HKBEDC’s experienced officers for different trades and professions.

 

Please register for the webinars scheduled for January to April 2025!

 

Notes:

  • The schedule for the webinars will be updated monthly.
  • All webinars are free of charge. If there are insufficient participants, the course will be cancelled, and we will contact participants individually to make other arrangements three days before the course date.
  • All webinars will be conducted via Zoom, and participants must install the Zoom application on their computer or mobile device in advance.
  • Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email automatically sent from Zoom , including a unique link to the webinar (except CPD courses for insurance or estate agent industry). Participants should not share the unique link they receive with others. The system will only send one confirmation email to the registered email address. Participants should not use the same email address for repeated registration.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses for the insurance or estate agency industry: Successful registrants will receive an email with course information from the Secretariat of HKBEDC at least two working days before the course date.
  • Attendance Record:
    • Non-Continuing Professional Development (CPD/CPT) courses: Participants attending the webinar via the unique link will receive an attendance confirmation email from Zoom <no-reply@zoom.us> to the email address provided during registration within one day after the course ends.
    • Continuing Professional Development (CPD/CPT) courses: Participants who attend the webinar via the unique link and meet the attendance requirements will receive an attendance confirmation email from the Secretariat of HKBEDC <bedcsec@crd.icac.org.hk> to the email address provided during registration within two weeks after the course ends, listing their hours of attendance. For PMSA recognised CPD course, participant who attended the course will receive an attendance confirmation email from Zoom <no-reply@zoom.us> to the email address provided during registration within one day after the course ends.
  • Group Registration: For group registrations, the contact person of the company/organisation will receive a confirmation email automatically sent from Zoom <no-reply@zoom.us>, including a unique link to the webinar. The contact person of the company/organisation should arrange for employees to use the same link to participate in the webinar, and keep relevant attendance records if needed. The contact person of the company/organisation will receive an attendance confirmation email after the webinar, but individual employee will not receive separate confirmation email. Please inquire with the relevant professional bodies or associations for the attendance records required to apply for CPD course hours/credits.
  • Adverse weather arrangements: If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, a Black Rainstorm Warning, or Extreme Conditions 3 hours before the start of the webinar, or if the Warning Signal or Condition is still in effect, the webinar will be postponed. Participants will receive an email from the system regarding the updated webinar date.

The information provided in the enrolment form will be used for providing ICAC services to you and updating the contact database of the Commission. Under Section 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right of access to make correction of your personal data provided in the form. Such access to personal data should be addressed to Ms Katy WONG, Assistant Community Relations Officer of Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (Tel: 2899 3795; Address: 8/F, ICAC Building, 303 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong). The form will be kept for 3 months after it is received by the ICAC.
