Early bird enrolment for The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) Annual Banking Conference 2024
The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre continues to serve as a supporting organisation for the HKIB Annual Banking Conference this year and encourages banking executives and related professionals to join the event. The theme of this year's event is "The Next Wave: Unlocking Potential, Fostering Success". The Conference is dedicated to exploring the multifaceted waves of change sweeping through the banking sector in an era marked by rapid transformations and emerging challenges. Nomination Opens for "HKIoD Award Series for Director Excellence 2024”
The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) strives to promote professional and business ethics to various sectors in collaboration with different stakeholders. Serving as a supporting organisation of the "HKIoD Award Series for Director Excellence 2024" (the Award Series) organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, HKBEDC encourages organisations to participate in the Award Series. With the theme of "Leading with Agility in an Era of Innovation", the Award Series honours outstanding boards and directors, and aims at promoting good practices in corporate governance. The Award Series consists of two categories: the "Directors of the Year Awards" launched since 2001 and the new "Climate Governance Awards" inaugurated this year. Early bird enrolment for the 25th “Annual Corporate and Regulatory Update” (ACRU 2024)
ACRU 2024, an annual signature event of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI), will be held on 7 June 2024 (Friday), where the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) proudly serves as a supporting organisation for 16 consecutive years. As part of the Centre’s effort in promoting professional ethics, we encourage governance professionals, directors and senior management to join the event. Representatives from six regulatory bodies, including Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Securities and Futures Commission and Competition Commission, will provide updates on enforcement developments and engage discussions on regulatory matters. Executive Director of the HKBEDC will also share insights on anti-corruption and ethical governance. A total of 6.5 ECPD points will be granted to eligible participants who attended all sessions of the event.
