ACRU2024

10 May 2024Early bird enrolment for the 25th “Annual Corporate and Regulatory Update” (ACRU 2024) ACRU 2024, an annual signature event of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI), will be held on 7 June 2024 (Friday), where the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) proudly serves as a supporting organisation for 16 consecutive years. As part of the Centre’s effort in promoting professional ethics, we encourage governance professionals, directors and senior management to join the event. Representatives from six regulatory bodies, including Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Securities and Futures Commission and Competition Commission, will provide updates on enforcement developments and engage discussions on regulatory matters. Executive Director of the HKBEDC will also share insights on anti-corruption and ethical governance. A total of 6.5 ECPD points will be granted to eligible participants who attended all sessions of the event. ESG award'

10 May 2024HKBEDC Encourages Participation in the “ESG Achievement Awards 2023/2024” The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) strives to promote professional and business ethics to various sectors in collaboration with different stakeholders. Serving as a supporting organisation of the ESG Achievement Awards 2023/2024 (the Awards), HKBEDC encourages organisations to participate in the Awards. The Awards is organised by the Institute of ESG & Benchmark (IESGB) with the aim of recognising commitment and achievements in the aspects of ESG practices across different types of organisations in Hong Kong. The theme of this year's Awards is "Driving Positive Change: Innovations in Sustainable Practices and Responsible Risk Management". The Award consists of 9 categories. 10 April 2024HKBEDC Encourages Participation in the “Quality Property and Facility Management Award 2024” The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) strives to promote professional and business ethics to various sectors in collaboration with different stakeholders. Serving as a supporting organisation of the Quality Property and Facility Management Award 2024 (QPFMA), HKBEDC encourages organisations to participate in the Award. Jointly organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors Property and Facility Management Division (HKIS-PFMD) and The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC), QPFMA is a biennial award designed to recognise outstanding projects and practitioners in property and facility management and advance the industry standard of professionalism. With the theme "Professional PFM Services Establishing a Wellness Harmony Community", QPFMA 2024 aims to recognise and promote organisations and practitioners demonstrating excellence and outstanding achievements in enhancing occupant experience and well-being while embracing harmony and sustainability.
