Corruption Prevention Webinar for Sales Representatives of the Medical & Healthcare Industries
The pandemic has definitely increased the demand of medical and healthcare products and services, and yet the quality of these products and services remains a key concern of the public. Practitioners of the medical and healthcare industries are to maintain their high ethical standard for ensuring service or product quality, as well as sustaining their goodwill and competitive edge in the market. To assist the industries in fortifying their clean corporate culture, the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) will organise a webinar for sales representatives of the sector on integrity and corruption issues in their business operation, as well as measures to prevent malpractices and illegal conduct. The Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD) - Directors’ Conference 2022
The Directors' Conference 2022 organised by the HKIoD will be held on 21 September 2022. The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre is glad to be invited by HKIoD again as a supporting organisation of this annual event. The theme of this year's Conference is "From Resilience to Sustainability". Speakers will share their insights with participants on leadership in facing lightning challenges and adversities. Integrity Training Workshops for Site Supervisory Staff
With an aim to enhance the integrity of construction practitioners and their understanding of anti-corruption laws, the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) will organise two integrity training workshops for site supervisory of consultants/contractors. Details as follows: Session 1 Session 2 Date 27 July 2022 (Wed) 2 November 2022 (Wed) Time 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm(Registration time: 3:30 pm) Medium of instruction Cantonese Deadline for enrolment 20 July 2022 (Wed) 26 October 2022 (Wed) The workshops are free of charge and seats are limited. HKBEDC Encourages Participation in the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2022 - “FinTech Award”
The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) strives to promote professional and business ethics to various sectors in collaboration with the stakeholders. Serving as a supporting organisation of the "FinTech Award" (the Award) under the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2022, HKBEDC encourages organisations to participate in the Award. The Award, with the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers being appointed as its leading organiser, aims at recognising and promoting outstanding ICT inventions and applications, thereby encouraging innovation and excellence among Hong Kong's ICT talent and enterprises in their constant pursuit of creative and better solutions to meet business and social needs.
