The ICAC is experienced in assisting individual hospitals or medical centres to develop corruption prevention programmes which cater to their specific needs.

Corruption prevention education programmes

The Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre (HKBEDC) of the Community Relations Department provides the following free services:

Assisting organisations in formulating or improving a code of conduct and offering advice on how to implement the code effectively; and

Organising training courses for various levels of staff. Courses range from explaining the legislation governing corruption and fraud in Hong Kong to providing measures to prevent corruption and skills to handle ethical dilemmas at work. Interested parties may contact the HKBEDC for assistance:

Corruption prevention consultancy service

The Corruption Prevention Advisory Service (CPAS) of the Corruption Prevention Department provides tailor-made corruption prevention advice to organisations, including those in the medical field, on ways to tighten up controls in areas of weakness. Corruption reporting and enquiry services

The Operations Department is the investigative arm of the ICAC. It handles corruption complaints and enquiries in strict confidence. Any party may lodge a complaint or make an enquiry with the ICAC through the following channels:
