Don't offer gifts to a public servant when you are having official dealing with him, even though you may just treat them as festive gifts. Watch the " traffic lights " before you act.

business favours (e.g. discount, sample) exclusively for him/her

Green Light: Do the right things ...

follow proper procedures in obtaining public service
conduct business in a fair and proper manner
