The Conference was a three-day event with the first day opened to directors, senior executives and professionals of listed companies, and senior management of relevant organisations from the Mainland and Macao.

The first day of the Conference was well received by the business community and was attended by about 350 participants. Among the 160 participants from the business sector in Hong Kong, over 70% of them were board members and senior executives of listed companies, while the others were members of professional bodies, e.g. lawyers, accountants and chartered secretaries providing services to company directors. For the remaining some 190 participants, half of them were corporate leaders and representatives of regulatory bodies from the Mainland and Macao, while the other half came from regulatory bodies and supporting partners in Hong Kong.

The second and third day of the Conference were mainly designed for representatives from the three co-organisers. Participants had in-depth and meaningful discussions and exchanges on ethical governance issues and corruption preventive measures in relation to listed companies, and the banking and insurance sectors during the three respective sessions.

Meaning Behind the Conference Logo

"The word of a gentleman is as strong as nine tripod cauldrons", as the old Chinese saying goes. "Tripod cauldron" is the essence of China's five thousand years of culture. It represents commitment, firmness and authority. The Integrity Tripod conveys the message of "Integrity in government would prosper businesses of all kinds; integrity in business would bring tremendous wealth."
