How the ICAC can help Support from the HKIE
Developing corporate ethics programmes The Hong Kong Ethics Development Centre (HKEDC) has been set up under the auspices of the ICAC's Community Relations Department to help organizations develop corporate ethics programmes that cater to their specific needs. Its services include: - formulating and/or improving a corporate code of conduct and offering advice on how to implement it effectively; - strengthening systems of controls and work procedures to prevent bribery, fraud and other forms of malpractice; - developing training programmes for employees at different levels; - organizing tailor-made seminars and workshops on corruption and fraud prevention; - providing publications and audio-visual materials on business ethics from Hong Kong and overseas for public reference; and - hosting an on-line ethics promotion resource centre at http://www.icac.org.hk/hkedc that provides the latest information on business and professional ethics.
