Scene 1

Time:	Day
Location:	Sharon’s office
Character(s):	Sharon, Kit
(After much internal struggle, Sharon decides to assist Kit with his loan application.)
Sharon:	I’ll do it.
Kit:	That’s what friends are for. I’ll write a recommendation letter for Justin tonight. That’ll work for sure.
Sharon:	I’m helping you because I don’t have the heart to see your company go down.
(Against her better judgment, Sharon signs the document, recommending Kit’s loan application to the bank.)

 

Scene 2

Time:	Day
Location:	ICAC Headquarters and Courthouse entrance
Character(s):	Sharon
(Sharon’s heart sinks as she steps out of the ICAC Headquarters after being interrogated.)
Sharon:	(VO) I’d helped Kit with his loan application, but his company eventually went bankrupt. His debt turned into a loss for the bank and I was prosecuted on corruption charges.
